TO INSTALL:
*********************************************************************************************
Just send EURO2K.83g to your TI-83. It's as easy as this.
The game programs take up 12611 Bytes, and you'll need at least another 3301 Bytes for the game to run, or you'll get Memory errors.

*********************************************************************************************
TO PLAY:
*********************************************************************************************
Run prgmEURO2K.
Don't run any of the other programs as they might screw up the information you need to continue a game.

*********************************************************************************************
OPTIONS:
*********************************************************************************************
The game's first menu has the following options:
New Game: Where you Setup a 1 Player game.
Multiplayer: Where you Setup a 2-16 Players game. All the players play in the same calculator. The game automatically detects whether it is a human player's turn or not.
Continue Game:	As you play, everything is autosaved. To continue a game you exited, just choose this option. Remember, you can only do this if you haven't started a new game after you exited the other one.
Exit: Gee, I wonder!

When you configure a new game, whether it is a solo one or not, you'll be prompted to the drawing screen. Here, the first draw that appears is the real one. If you want to redraw, press "Y" and wait. If you don't, press "N", as the program will continue setting up the game.

The game's main menu has the following options:
Done: To continue with the competition, choose this option.
Schedule:	Here you can see the matches to be played as well as the results of the played matches. To scroll between phases, use the Up and the Down keys (or the Left and Right, it's the same). When youre done, press Enter to return.
Standings:	Here you can see how things are within the groups. It takes a while to load because it has to do some calculation. Within the screen, "G" stands for "Games Played", "W" for "Wins", "D" for "Draws", "L" for "Losses", "GA" for Goal Average and "P" for "Points". The groups are scrolled one by one.
Exit: Guess!

*********************************************************************************************
PLAYING A MATCH:
*********************************************************************************************
When the teams to play next weren't chosen by you, the game just simulates the matches. When it's your turn, you "watch" the game. "Watch" is a manner of speaking, as you just see the result while the time goes by (Kinda like CM!).
Don't be astonished if you see , for instance, Slovenia in the final, or Turkey as the European Champions. In this game, every team as the same probability of winning. It all depends on luck. The match results are all randomly calculated, so you can either smash Germany 5-0 as you can either be smashed by Slovenia or any other team 0-5.

*********************************************************************************************
RULES:
*********************************************************************************************
Matches you see are played along 90 minutes with 2 halfs of 45 minutes each and a break between them.
In the group phase, when you reach the 90 minutes the result is done. Standings in the group are calculated with the following factors separating teams: first the points won, then the GA and finally the matches won (if after this teams are still equal, the standing is decided randomly).
In later phases, if you reach the end of the 90 minutes with a draw, Golden-Goal Extra-time is played. If after that you are still drawing, the match will be decided on penaltys. Here, "X" indicates a converted penalty (I mean a goal) and "O" indicates a missed penalty. If nothing is decided after 5 penaltys, sudden death penaltys are played.

NOTES:
*********************************************************************************************
Sorry to the Netherlands fans! The way I did the game, team names can only have 10 characters and so it became "Netherland".
The game has a system that can detect whether the results in it's database were faked or not. If they were, an error message appears, and you'll have to start a new game.
Although it is a very simple game I think it's very amusing and I hope you enjoy playing it as much as I did. I think it will give a new dimension to the classes where you can use the calculator (and even to those where you can't!).
When you say "What a badly done game!", remember: it is still for a TI-83!
Any suggestions, critics, mispelling notes, bugs(I'm not perfect!), whether you liked the game or not, mail me at jnalmeida@usa.net

Thanks!
