Gameplay:

Immerse yourself in the immense and ever-developing storyline as you guide your valiant Kart through the treacherous pathway known only as "the track". The longer you manage to keep from straying, the higher your measurement of success is! Some people call it a 'score', but that is just so plain.

Oh, and use the arrow keys to move back and forth. If you can't navigate the pre-game menus without being told how, you probably should have spent your $90 on something a little more on your level, like, say, a Speak'n'Spell. Or a helmet.

Notes:

-This game is programmed in TI-83+ BASIC, so you don't need to download MirageOS or Ion in order to play it. In fact, you'll never need to download them because I know this will be the only game you'll ever want to play.

-AKart v1.0 is the first game I've attempted to create, so please take this into account when judging how crappy/non-ASM it is. I'm not trying to break an 'awesome game' barrier. Thank you.

-Any similarities to the game "ZKart" are purely coincidental. I was lying in bed and I decided to give my game a name with a random letter from the alphabet in front of 'cart' spelled with a 'K'. In any case, I hope AKart is more satisfactory to you than ZKart (for BASIC at least, not that neato ZKart 3D for Ion). I found ZKart fairly un-satisfactory, hence the development of my own game.

-Since it is BASIC, if you really want to you can look at the programming and edit it to your desire. Not that it needs improving. Also, if you want to distribute your own version, please give it a creative new title like "BKart".

History:

v1.0 - The first release. I think its pretty darn good so quit your complaining. In all seriousness, I would appreciate any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism, and maybe you'll be lucky enough to get a certain AKart v2.0!
