INTRODUCTION
============
As said, TItanium MultiMedia (I will now refer to it as TIMM) is a program that
will convert a Windows video file to a .XXP file that runs under a shell.
TIMM can convert *all* media types your computer can handle, this means that
you can convert AVI, MPEG, MPG, MOV, ASF, FLC, FLI and DivX files. If your
Windows media player can handle these files, TIMM can, too.

TIMM creates videos using a new compression algorithm called TIMPEG. It currently
resides in version 3.7. It is a stable release, so there shouldn't be any prob-
lems with the video. Compression to up to 99% can be reached.

USING THE PROGRAM
=================
The program is built like most Windows wizards. There are a few steps in which
you must answer the questions. All steps are pretty much self-explanatory. I
think that none of the steps really requires any explanation, except the options
step. Below is more information on that one.

SETTING THE OPTIONS
===================
On the options screen (referred to as step 4) you can set a variety of options.
Here's some information on each one:

- Brightness: set the slider to adjust brightness of the source video. If you
              set the slider to the left, the source video is considered dark.
              However, if the source video is too bright, you must set the slider
              to the right.
- FPS: set this to a number from 1 to 10. This is the amount of pictures
              that are displayed per second. If you set this to a higher number,
              motion will be more fluid, but more space will be taken by the
              video.
- Skip: if you want to skip the first few seconds of a video, use this
              setting to tell the program how many seconds to skip.
- Platform: select which TI calc you want to use.
- Delete...: uncheck the box to save the source code of your video. In this way,
	      you can port it to another platform, or integrate it in another
	      project.
- ScreenSize: select a screensize for your video
- Dithermeth.:set this option to emulate greyscale or
- Quickmode: set this option if you know the settings are correct (you don't
              get the preview window, which saves lots of time)
- Quality: set the image quality for the video. Less quality means longer
              video's. Great eh? Best feature since the first version of TIMM.

PLAYING YOUR MOVIES
===================
To play your movies, you'll first need to install a shell on your calculator.
The following shells are compatible with TIMM 1.4.72 videos:
TI82:	CrAsh 1.6
TI83:	AShell83
TI83+:	Ion 1.6
TI85:   ZShell could be used
TI86:	No shell needed (Rascall works)
TI89:   No shell needed
TI92+:  No shell needed

USE OF MS-DOS BOXES
===================
Please excuse the use of MS-DOS boxes in this program. It was the only way to
make sure that the program runs correctly on Windows NT and Windows 2000 based
systems. I could not directly call the conversion routine within these OS-es.
It seems however, that by bundling PIF files, the DOS boxes are closed auto-
matically. That's why there are two PIF files in the archive.

PROBLEMS/BUGS
=============
As for now, there are no bugs in this program. Problems are known with the video
conversion, but these are caused by certain video-cards which use hardware motion
compensation.

OASIS
=====
Maybe, I don't really want to know
how your garden grows,
and I just wanna fly.

Lately, did you ever feel the pain
in the morning rain,
as it soaks it to the bone.

And maybe I just wanna fly,
wanna live but don't wanna die.

Maybe I just wanna breathe,
maybe I just don't believe.

Maybe you're the same as me,
we'll see things they'll never see,

YOU AND I WE'RE GONNA LIVE FOREVER

Thanks. All. U.
